Ritualer i almen praksis – hvordan påvirker de lægen, patienten og dermed forløbet?

Dette kursus vil sætte fokus på hvordan ritualer former og påvirker samværsformer og patientbehandlinger. Kursusformen vil være en kursusdag i København, der introducerer ritualbegrebet efterfulgt af 5 vandredage i England hvor vi gennem samtaler vil folde begrebet ud og sætte fokus på egne såvel som patienters ritualer.

Hvad er et ritual?

Et ritual er en handling eller en række handlinger, der udføres regelmæssigt og ofte med en specifik betydning eller formål. Ritualer kan være religiøse, men de kan også være verdslige. De kan være formelle eller uformelle, og de kan involvere en enkelt person eller en gruppe mennesker.

8.30-9: Ankomst og kaffe

9-10.15: Antropolog Inger Sjørslev: Ritualer, riter og deres definition og funktion. Ritualers indvirkning på menneskers adfærd, også sundhedsmæssigt.

10.15-10.30: pause

10.30-11.45: Antropolog Henriette List: Ritualer i sundhedsvæsenet, hvordan påvirker de behandlere og patientforløb. 

11.45-12.30: Frokost

12.30-13.45:  Antropolog Alexandra Jønsson: Ritualer fra patientens og borgerens vinkel. Bliver man hvirvlet ind i ritualer, som bevidst eller ubevidst påvirker ens liv og adfærd, og dermed sundhed? Hvor svært er det at ændre sundhedsadfærd med disse påvirkninger? 

13.45-14: Pause

14-14.45: Professor og speciallæge i almen medicin, Frede Olesen: ritualer i almen praksis, placebo og “lægen som medicinsk instrument”.

14.45-14.50: Strække ben pause

14.50-15.50: Frede Olesen fortsat

15.50-16: Afrunding, evaluering og afslutning.

Day 1 (Tuesday 17 September 2024) – Arrive at your accommodation in Carlisle.

We have arranged transport from Edinburgh Airport to the Cumbria Park Hotel in Carlisle.

Accommodation:  Cumbria Park Hotel – 4 Twins, 2 Doubles and 8 singles including breakfast

Dinner: We have booked a table in a nice pub.

Day 2  (Wednesday 18 September 2024)- Carlisle to Irthington. 

Take time to see the castle and cathedral before heading out of the city across green fields to Irthington. The wall here was an earth structure, so very little remains. We have arranged a transfer from Irthington to your accommodation in Brampton. 


15km (9miles) and 106m (348ft) of ascent

Accommodation: The Scotch Arms Mews  (1 x Twin & 5 x Single Rooms including Breakfast / The Howard Arms – (3 x Twin, 2 x Double and 3 x Single Rooms including breakfast.

Dinner: We have booked a table for 20 persons in the Howard Arms 

Day 3 (Thursday 19 September 2024) – Irthington to Gilsland 

We have arranged a transfer back to Irthington where you will continue your walk. Today is filled with Roman landmarks. Spot turrets, mile castles, the fort of Birdoswald and a substantial section of the wall before arriving above the River Irthing gorge into Gilsland. We have arranged a transfer back to your accommodation in Brampton. 

16km (10 miles) and 314m (1,030ft) of ascent.

Accommodation The Scotch Arms Mews  (1 x Twin & 5 x Single Rooms including Breakfast / The Howard Arms – (3 x Twin, 2 x Double and 3 x Single Rooms including breakfast.

Dinner: We have booked a table for 20 persons in the Howard Arms

Day 4 (Friday 20 September 2024) – Gilslad to Once Brewed 

We have arranged a transfer you back to Gilsland where you will continue your walk. Stunning scenery and fascinating Roman remains as you continue on the trail by Thirlwall Castle before passing by Carvoran Roman Army Museum. The route continues onto Walltown Crags and stays close to The Wall, past the remains of Roman Forts as it follows the contours of the land down to Caw Gap, then up onto Windshield Crags, the highest point on the Hadrian’s Wall Path.  Take time to admire the stunning views across the surrounding countryside before leaving the Wall Route at the Steel Rigg carpark and heading a short way downhill to the Hamlet of Once Brewed. We have arranged a transfer from Once Brewed to Chollerford where you will spend the night. 

14km (9 miles) and 506m (1660ft) of ascent.

Accommodation: George Hotel ( 4 x Twin, 2 x Double and 8 x Single rooms including breakfast)

Dinner: We have booked a table for 20 persons in the George Hotel


Day 5 (Saturday 21 September 2024)   – Once Brewed to Chollerford:  

We have arranged a transfer back to Once Brewed where you will continue your walk .Prepare yourself for the most iconic section of the wall – Steel Rigg and Sycamore Gap. Famous as the site of numerous films including Robin Hood, the wall follows the escarpment before descending to Housesteads Roman Fort, where you can see the enormous scale of the military operations and civilian settlement which was here almost 2000 years ago. You then gain stunning views from Sewingshields Crags before walking alongside the Roman military road to Brocolitia Fort. The day then ends with a pleasant walk into Chollerford. 

12 miles (20km), 386m (1,267ft) of ascent.

Accommodation: George Hotel ( 4 x Twin, 2 x Double and 8 x Single rooms including breakfast)

Day 6 (Sunday 22 September 2024) – Chollerford to East Wallhouses. 

Today is a surprisingly enjoyable walk over Accomb Fell beside the old Roman road (now the B6318) to East Wallhouses.
Approx. 9 miles (14km) and 886ft (270m) of ascent

We have arranged a transfer back to Edinburgh Airport at the end of your walk.

Retur fra Edinburgh til København den 22. september. Fly afgår kl. 2030 med ankomst kl. 2315
